What is a Doula?

A Doula is a professional labor assistant, who is trained to support you physically, emotionally, and encourages you to be an active member of your decision making team and helps to work toward your birth goals.

Doulas do NOT perform any medical procedures. We are not a replacement for medical staff and cannot offer medical advice or diagnosis
While doulas assist in gathering information, they do not make decisions for you. Only you can decide what your best birth will be!

What is a birthing doula?

A trained and experienced non-medical labor companion, who provides women and partners continuous emotional support, physical comfort, and assistance in obtaining information before, during, and just after childbirth.

Every woman who would like a doula should have one!! I support how and where you want to birth your baby.

How does COVID-19 impact your services?

During this pandemic, we are in this together! Due to COVID-19 restrictions, some hospital and birth center policy may prevent in-person support. My goal remains to help you and your partner feel safe, supported, empowered and respected.

I see each pregnancy as a unique miracle and journey. I've spent my career working in reproductive healthcare and advocacy. Being able to support families through birth work is not only a passion but an honor. I am a certified birth doula through DONA International. I help women embark on their birthing journey gently through breathing exercises, relaxation techniques and aromatherapy. Please get in touch to set up an initial consultation.
